Application
Application of Spray Rating Tester
Spray Rating Tester is used to determine the resistance of any fabrics, which may or may not have been given a water-repellent finish, to surface wetting by water. It is not intended to predict waterproofness, since it does not measure the penetration of water through fabric.
The principle: a specified volume of distilled or fully deionized water is sprayed on a test specimen which has been mounted on a ring and placed at an angle of 45° so that the center of the specimen is at a specified distance below the spray nozzle. The spray rating testing instrument is determined by comparing the appearance of the specimen with descriptive standards and photographs.
There is a catchment plate with the instrument，in order to convenience the operation and improve the test environment.
