Whole Shoe Flexing Machine DW9610

Outsole Flexing Machine is used for determining the flexing resistance of outsoles by measuring the cut growth before and after repeated flexing at specified conditions. Make an incision of cut at the maximum flexing part on the outsole test piece and then clamp the two ends of test piece on the instrument in such a way the cut position is directly above the center roller. One of the clamps is fixed, and the other one is movable. Carry out flexing at an angle of 90° and a constant speed by the repeated protruding action of center roller. The initial and final cut lengths are measured before and after flexing with the magnifier in order to acquire the cut growth of test piece.

Follows are features of whole shoe flexing machine:

• The machine has three workstations presented horizontally for operator ease. Loading, unloading and measurements are also much easier to carry out with the workstations presented in this manner;
• Flexing speeds of test piece are set at 135-150 cycles per minute (adjustable) and the number is recorded on a counter which has the facility to pre-set the number of cycles required;
• The machine is robust and non-corrosive materials are used where applicable in its construction;
• The machine is fitted with high performance motor, which is a new concept in machine drive and control.
