Whole Shoe Sole Flexing Resistance Tester also named Whole Shoe Flexing Angle Tester, is used to determine the flexing resistance of whole shoe by measuring the force required when a specimen is flexed to a specified angel or the flexed angle when a given force is applied.

Whole Shoe Sole Flexing Resistance Tester is used to determine the flexing resistance of whole shoe according to the rigidity test in ISO 20344. The flexing resistance of the specimen can be determined by measuring the force required when a specimen is flexed to a specified angel or the flexed angle when a given force is applied. The forepart of shoe is clamped to the base plate (make sure the flexing line is at the 1/3 length position). A force is applied to flex the shoe at a speed of (100 ± 10) mm/min until (30 ± 0.5) N has been reached. Measure the flexed angle at this point. The instrument uses an encoder to read out the angle value.
