Fabric Downproof Tester YG819A
YG819A Downproof Tester is designed to test the downproof performance of more than 40cm length down jacket sample. A rotating box loaded with a sample and special-shaped silicone rubber balls, rotates in specified speed to simulate the press, rub and collision actions in usage of the tested sample. The overall downproof performance of garment can be assessed by calculating the number of down, feather or fiber that escaped from the sample.

Application of Fabric Downproof Tester
Fabric Downproof Tester is used to test down-proof properties of fabrics. A rotating box which can rotate in forward and reverse, load the sample and Nitrile rubber balls rotary in specified speed to simulate the press, collision actions of using feather products . Result assessment by counting the number of particles passed or protruding from the fabrics.
It Adopts transparent cylinder as rotary box and has interlayer, can efficiently reduce the noise of balls impact the box; Please also prepare a Electronic balance in customer lab .
