Permeability Tester for GCL DW1350B
The permeability coefficient and hydraulic conductivity of saturated geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) specimens are measured using the DW1350B Permeability Tester for GCL under certain pressure and time conditions. To increase the machine’s capacity to three places, it consists of one main machine with one position and one set of auxiliary units with two positions.
Permeability Tester for GCL DW1350B
DW1350B Permeability Tester for GCL is used to determine the permeability coefficient/hydraulic conductivity of saturated geosynthetics clay liner (GCL) specimens under conditions of specified pressure and specified period time. It is consisted of 1 main machine (1 position) and 1 set auxiliary unit (2 positions) to extend the machine’s capacity of 3 positions.
GCL Permeability Test Apparatus complies with ASTM D5887, JG/T 193 Appendix A etc. international and retailer standards.
Follows are GCL Permeability Test Machine
- With the capacity of testing 3 samples simultaneously or 1 sample only;
- The pipeline leading to each permeate cell equipped with shut-off valve, allowing the sample preparation, exhaust, and other testing operation in each permeate cell be carried out independently;
- Equipped with water degassing device, allowing the test water is degassed water, making sure more accurate test results;
- Permeate cells are movable, allows more convenient operation;
- Transparent permeate cell and reservoirs, convenient to observe the test process;
- Main body made of aluminum alloy and oxidization-treatment surface, good-looking and water-proof;
- Stainless steel bolt rod, strong-resistance to corrosion;
- Independent high precise pressure regulating systems for cell pressure, influent pressure and effluent pressure;
- Influent pressure and effluent pressure also can be regulated simultaneously;
- Cell pressure, influent pressure and effluent pressure is digital displayed by switching corresponding switch, display resolution is 1Kpa;
- Visual flow measurement directly read from scales of reservoirs, accurate to 0.05ml.
Application

The permeability coefficient and hydraulic conductivity of saturated geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) specimens are measured using the DW1350B Permeability Tester for GCL under certain pressure and time conditions. To increase the machine’s capacity to three places, it consists of one main machine with one position and one set of auxiliary units with two positions.
The permeability test machine can be used once it is connected with an air source and the water drain pipe .In order to facilitate the user’s operation, the machine shall be placed on a worktable whose height is 500~800mm recommended.
