Absorbency Tester for Terry Fabrics is used to simulate the procedure of washcloth’s absorbing water from the surface of skin, dishes and furniture in the actual life to determine the ability of a terry fabric (washcloth, facecloth, hoods, Turkish towels, etc.) to rapidly absorb and retain liquid water from surfaces. It is not applicable to non-terry fabrics such as huck towels, waffle-weave towels, crash towels, flour-sack towels and non-woven wipes and decorative terry fabrics that will not be used to absorb water from surfaces
