In-plane Water Flow Rate Test Apparatus is applied to determine the in-plane flow rate per unit width and hydraulic transmissivity within the manufactured plane of geosynthetics under varying normal compressive stresses and standard hydraulic gradient using a constant head. Aggregate thickness of the test specimen and rubber sheets loaded on base: 20~100 mm , For better experimental operation, it is recommended to place the instrument on a cement workbench at a certain height depended on heights and operation habit of operators (the recommended height of workbench is about 450mm).

Supporting frame composed of aluminum alloy profiles with square cross-section is used to support the main body, reservoirs, overflow elevating device and water storage tank.
