Application of Elmendorf Tear Tester
Elmendorf Tear Tester is used to determine the tear force of woven fabric, thick paper, plastics cloth, etc, with suitable ballistic pendulum range from 16 to 64 Newton( YG033A ),Range from 32000 to 128000 Newton ballistic pendulum ( YG033B)
This digital elmendorf tear strength tester consists of base frame, bearing and sector sinker etc.A piece of square sample is fixed between the moveable grip and immoveable grip. Cut a 20mm width incision on the center of sample by pulling the hilt. The moveable grip and immoveable grip will separate to tear the sample quickly while the sector sinker falls down.
