Q: Could you please respond on our query that how many different fiber images will be present in the data bank of the equipment you will provide to the customer?
A: We can offer 5~10 types of fiber pictures. Of course, the operator can add pictures by himself. By the way, YG002C cannot identify fiber categories in automatic mode; we have only one way: the operator has to compare the original picture with the picture that they take during a test. So, it is very necessary to have too much training for operators to take the right photo and compare this photo with the original one.
Q: We are using ramie fibers with an average diameter of 20 μm. How long would it take to calculate the average or distribution of fiber diameters from about 600 fibers using the YG002C?
A: In addition to sample preparation time, if it’s just testing time, approximately half an hour is needed to obtain average diameter measurement results for 600 samples of 20 μm each.
