Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Tester YG401B Description

YG401 Series Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Machine (Plus) is used to determine the abrasion resistance of wool and wool blends woven fabrics, knitted fabrics and nonwovens under certain pressures. Also used for pilling property test of most fabrics (especially woolen woven fabrics) under low pressure. It was designed to give a controlled amount of multi-directional abrasion, between the fabric surface and a crossbred wool abrading fabric, at comparatively low pressure until thread breakdown, or unacceptable change in color or appearance occurs.

Here is the features of the machine:

• For abrasion and pilling tests, movement tracks are different. YG401 Series (Plus) provide three kinds of movement tracks, can be chosen easily by changing the positions of driving pins on three eccentric discs of machine;
• Specimen holder guide plate can be removed and installed manually, convenient to choose the movement track;
• Multi-working positions satisfy many specimens to be tested at the same time. In addition, each working position can count independently;
• Adopts microcomputer of color backlit touch screen control. Convenient to preset parameters such as test speed, count of each stage, backlight brightness, etc., and control test process of each working position;
• Preset stop function: Users can preset the count of each test stage. The machine will stop and alarm automatically when the preset count of each stage is completed;
• Preset count of abrasive: when the practical count of abrasive reaches the preset count, the machine can remind you to replace the abrasive. The abrasive need be replaced when it is damaged or contaminated, otherwise the accuracy of test results will be affected;
• Count zeroing function: The count of each working position can be reset by choice;
• With memory function when power interrupted, and can continue to test when power on the machine again;
• Specimen holder guide plate is made by aluminum alloy, and has after sandblasting oxidation process, beautiful and endurable;
• Rail material is made of stainless steel, easy to unload without mechanical failure;
• Stainless steel load piece, artistry and durable;
• Equipped with emergency stop button to stop the running. The test can be continued after releasing the emergency button.
