Sole belt flexing tester is used for determining the flexing resistance performance, i.e. the ability to resist crack initiation and growth due to continued flexing by the belt flex method. The non-leather soles are glued or stitched on the surface of the canvas belt. The belt is then placed on the rotating shaft of the instrument. After starting the rotating shaft, the soles are bent. Examine the damage and breakage situation of sole after bending a certain number of cycles to study its resistance to bending.

The rotation of the canvas belt is driven by the big pulley on the instrument. The small pulleys have three different diameters, which can be selected and replaced to obtain and compare bending tests with different curvatures.
