Inserts Flexing Resistance Tester DW9450
Inserts Flexing Resistance Tester, also Flexing Resistance Test Apparatus for Safety Footwear, is used to test the flexing resistance of inserts for safety footwear in accordance with the method described in EN 12568.

Flexing resistance test apparatus for safety footwear inserts is used to test the flexing resistance of inserts for safety footwear. Clamp the middle part of the test piece with clamping plates and grip the fore part of the specimen (70mm distance from the clamping position) by two gripping bars, which can make a reciprocating flexing movement around the clamping position, and then the test piece is flexed repeatedly. Carry out a visual examination of the test piece to see if there are visible signs of cracking, disintegration or delamination after 1 × 106 (one million) flexion cycles.

The center part of the insert is clamped with clamping plates and a pair of gripping bars are used to clamp the specimen at a distance of 70mm (toward the fore part) from the clamping plates and then the specimen is flexed repeatedly.
