YG606D Thermal Guarded Hotplate is used for the precise measurement of thermal resistance, thermal conductivity and heat transmission coefficient of textiles, fiber-based products, and other thermal insulating materials.

- Features a high-resolution color touchscreen interface with menu-driven operation and real-time data monitoring;
- Test plate, guard plate and bottom plate are blocked off by heat-insulating material and covered by transparent hood to ensure the accuracy of the test temperature;
- In the process of testing, temperatures of test plate, guard plate, bottom plate and environment, test status and progress can be duly displayed on touch screen;
- Sensor height is adjustable to accommodate varying sample thicknesses and ensure standard compliance;

Application
Application of Thermal Guarded Hot Plate
Cover a specimen on the test plate. The test plate, bottom plate and guard plate around are controlled by electric heating and can maintain a constant temperature, so that the heat of the test plate can only be emitted through the direction of the specimen. Determine the heating power required by the test plate to maintain a constant temperature in a certain time and calculate the thermal resistance, CLO value, thermal conductivity and heat transmission coefficient of the specimen.
