ASTM D746 Low Temperature Brittleness Tester DW1480
ASTM D746 Low Temperature Brittleness Tester, also named Brittleness Point Temperature Tester or Rubber/Plastic Low Temperature Brittleness, which is used to test rubber or plastic under prescribed conditions impact damage when the highest temperature. It can also be used to determine the brittleness temperature and low temperature performance of vulcanized rubber with different rubber materials or different formulas.
ASTM D746 Low Temperature Brittleness Tester DW1480
Low Temperature Brittleness Tester is used to determine the brittleness temperature of plastics and elastomers by impact testing and evaluate their usage property under the condition of low temperature.
This equipment is composed of the main body of refrigeration compressor, heating device, electronic control box, cooling tank, cooling medium circulation system and automatic alarm device. After the refrigeration switch is started, the compressor starts to work and the refrigeration system enters the official working state.
Refrigeration compressor continuous work, when close to the set temperature, cooling tank of heating device to provide heat in proportion to balance the amount of extra cold refrigeration system to produce, in order to achieve the purpose of constant temperature. Stirring allows the cooling medium in the cooling tank to circulate continuously so that the temperature is uniform. ,More machine about our plastic machine . you can get from our www.fyitetser.com
Follows are features Low Temperature Brittleness Tester;
- Cooling tank with stirrer to keep temperature uniform;
- Quick to low temperature with less energy-consumption;
- Pneumatic clamping devices consisting of gas cylinder and base;
- Striking devices consisting of striking edge and gas cylinder.
Application
Application of Low Temperature Brittleness Tester
Low Temperature Brittleness Tester is used to determine the brittleness temperature of plastics and elastomers by impact testing and evaluate their usage property under the condition of low temperature. It is also used to determine the brittleness temperature of different rubbers or vulcanized rubbers of different ingredients and assess their properties under the condition of low temperature. Specimens are fixed to a specimen holder with a torque wrench. The specimen holder is immersed in a cooling bath containing a heat-transfer medium. The specimens are struck at a specified linear speed and then examined. The brittleness temperature is defined as the temperature at which 50% of specimens fail.
Low Temperature Brittleness Tester complies with ISO 974, ASTM D746 etc international and retailer standards.
