Full Notch Creep Tester is used to determine the stress cracking resistance of polyethyelene materials in any environment. It is also applicable to the test of drawing performance of pipe materials.

Full Notch Creep Tester FNCT-2026

Full Notch Creep Tester is mainly used to test the fracture time of polymer materials, especially polyethylene and other materials in a certain temperature or solution under static tension.

A test specimen in the form of a square-section bar with coplanar notches in each face at the center, is subjected to a static tensile load in a temperature-controlled environment, for example, air, water, surfactant solution. The geometry of the specimen is such that plane strain conditions are obtained and brittle failure occurs under appropriate tensile load and temperature conditions. The time for this brittle failure to occur after loading is recorded.

Application of Full Notch Creep Tester

Full Notch Creep Tester is available in different configurations the creep tester utilizes load cells to apply and hold the load .

PC control software in both Chinese and English, and can realize the test data storage, archiving, automatic calculation of failure time under a given pressure, and can draw displacement time, force value – time, stress and time curve .

Full Notch Creep Tester complies with ISO 16770 , ISO 899 (optional) , ISO 3501 (etc international and retailer standards.
