Application
Application of Twist Tester
Twist Tester is used to determine yarn twist in double or plied yarns for conventional or twist/re-twist method manually. Test length adjustable up to 30cm/12inches for S & Z twist yarns.
There have two directions for right yarn grip rotates, clockwise and counterclockwise. It equipped with a magnifier to check the degree of the yarn’s parallelization and able to add pre-tension
There are 10 wide scales which every one includes 10 small scales on the dial, every wide scale is equal to the clip turning 1 circle.
Calculate the twist of 1m yarn according to the following equation, T=1000/L×n
Where, n— the number of the untwist
L—the length of the yarn (mm)
