AKRON abrasion tester is suitable to determine the abrasion resistance of vulcanized rubber. The abrasion resistance is determined through measuring the volumetric loss of a rotating specimen abraded against a standard grinding wheel. You can set the number of wear revolutions. When the set number of revolutions is completed, the tester can stop automatically.

Follows are features of AKRON abrasion tester:

• The AKRON abrasion test is equipped with a brush on the left side of the grinding wheel. This brush can rotate synchronously with the grinding wheel, which can remove the debris caused by abrading the specimen;
• The test load can be obtained by moving the weight to the corresponding indicating scale;
• The number of wear revolutions can be set freely, and then when the set number of revolutions is completed, the tester can stop automatically.
